Model selection & testing

DRAM test planning can include capacity, address coverage, read/write consistency, supported speed and timing, logic and refresh behavior, and stability. The actual checks and operating conditions follow the model and agreed order requirements.

Match the memory generation

  • DDR2, DDR3, DDR4 and DDR5 are separate sourcing categories. Specify the generation and exact part number.
  • Share package, capacity, data width and target board or application requirements so the proposed part can be reviewed for fit.
  • Required speed, timing, voltage and operating temperature must be confirmed for the selected model.

Check function and stability

  • Capacity and address checks establish the memory space under test; read/write consistency checks verify data behavior.
  • Speed and timing, logic, refresh and stability checks use the applicable program and agreed operating conditions.
  • DDR2 test coverage is confirmed separately for the selected model. DDR3–DDR5 speed figures do not define DDR2 acceptance.

Know the supplied condition

  • Supply may be original-marked used chips or refurbished and remarked chips. The actual model and condition are disclosed before purchase.
  • Yuyue provides three-year after-sales support starting from the customer's acceptance date. For after-sales assistance, contact us through the email or WhatsApp listed on this website. Confirmed defective chips receive replacement or replenishment support. Original-marked used and refurbished, re-marked chips receive the same support with their actual condition disclosed.
  • These are used packaged chips; the supply condition must remain clear on the order.

Specialized HTOL, temperature cycling work follows the actual model and order test plan. Required temperature grades and qualifications must be confirmed for the selected part.

The DRAM defective-chip rate is measured during the customer’s goods-receipt inspection, with a ceiling of 1 in 1,000 chips (0.1%). This is an arrival inspection measure, not a bit error rate or a lifetime failure rate.

Three-Year After-Sales Support by Yuyue

Yuyue provides three-year after-sales support starting from the customer's acceptance date. For after-sales assistance, contact us through the email or WhatsApp listed on this website. Confirmed defective chips receive replacement or replenishment support. Original-marked used and refurbished, re-marked chips receive the same support with their actual condition disclosed.

Pre-Shipment Checks and Incoming Acceptance

The two stages may use different test items, sample sizes and acceptance criteria. Sample results do not establish that every unit was tested or that an entire lot is defect-free. Sampling does not restrict after-sales support to the inspected units.

Can I request a specific DDR2, DDR3, DDR4 or DDR5 part?

Yes. Send the exact part number, target application and expected purchase quantity. Include your required package, speed, timing and operating conditions. MemorySemiTech will review the model and proposed supply condition with you.

What does the 0.1% DRAM figure mean?

It is the ceiling for defective chips identified during the customer’s goods-receipt inspection: 1 in 1,000 chips. It is not a bit error rate, a reliability projection or a lifetime failure guarantee.

Do original-marked and refurbished chips have different warranties?
