Model selection & testing
SPI NAND and SPI NOR use distinct, model-specific test requirements. Device identification, capacity and applicable read/write verification are defined in the order test plan; NAND-specific checks are not transferred to NOR.
Specialized HTOL, temperature cycling and P/E endurance work follows the actual model and order test plan. Required temperature grades and qualifications must be confirmed for the selected part.
From evaluation to aftersales
The SPI Flash defective-chip rate is below 5 in 1,000 chips (below 0.5%) during the customer’s goods-receipt inspection. This applies to defective chips at arrival; it is not a bit error rate or a lifetime endurance claim.

Confirmed defective chips receive replacement or replenishment support. Original-marked used and refurbished, re-marked chips receive the same support with their actual condition disclosed.
